'Keel Cottage' is a beautiful holiday home furnished to a very high standard.
It is situated between Seahouses village centre and Seahouses Golf Course,
just a 3 minute walk from the beach, harbour, shops, restaurants and pubs.
From the rear of the property there are stunning views of the Sea with Longstone Light House and The Farne
Islands in the distance. |
 |
| Keel Cottage is an ideal base to explore the delights of the Northumberland
coastline and countryside either by car, cycle or on foot. Seahouses is a traditional fishing village with the
working harbour as the centre point of the village with lots of fishing boats and
pleasure boats alike. The stunning views of the Farne Islands make the harbour a
wonderful place to enjoy the scenery. |
 |
| Seahouses is home to some of the most beautiful sandy beaches in the UK.
Within a short you will also find Bamburgh beach and Beadnell beach with boat launching facilities.
Northumberland has some of the cleanest beaches in England and every major beach has been passed by the
Environment Agency for the cleanliness of its water. The beaches are very safe for
children and ideal for dogs to have a good run. |
 |
| During the summer months the village is a hive of activity with a great selection of gift shops, restaurants, tea shops and pubs on offer.
Don't forget 'fish and chips'. There are organised boat trips to the Farne Islands, home to
many different varieties of birds and seals and fishing trips leaving the harbour at
regular intervals throughout the day. For the children there is crazy golf, the haunted kingdom
and sealife centre. |
 |
| Northumberland also has more than it's fair share of places of historical interest. Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh castle are within easy walking, cycling or driving distance from the cottage.
Further afield you will find Chillingham castle and Lindisfarne. Golfing fans will love Northumberland's selection of courses.
Seahouses course is literally on the door step with
Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh and Belford also being very close. |
 |
| The Alnwick Gardens stems from The Duchess of Northumberland's vision to create a beautiful public space accessible to everyone.
A garden which is a place of contemplation, a place of fun, a place of inspiration and education. During the summer the water falls and beautiful array of plants and
flowers make the garden a stunning and magical place to visit.
